MY STORY BEGAN

Suzuki Jimny history began in 1968, where suzuki buy an automotive companynamed Hope Japan Motor. of transition resulted lj10 Suzuki Jimny 359cc engine,in-line two-cylinder air-cooled, equipped with four-wheel drive.

in 1972, lj20 for the first time introduced. engine still wearing the same specs justchanged the engine coolant into the cooling water.

in 1975, Suzuki gave birth to a new generation lj50. has a larger engine capacity of535cc, in-line three cylinder, two stroke, and continued with a new generation lj80,800cc engine, in-line four cylinder, four stroke, water cooled

in 1981, is the beginning of the second generation Suzuki Jimny introduced

F10A engine 970cc, in-line four silnder, four stroke, with larger and stronger shapethan the previous generation. in some countries have different

names for this Jimnyproducts, such as Katana (Indonesia), Drover Holden, Chevrolet samurai (Australia),Carribian (Thailand), sierra, samurai, potoh (Pakistan), and Gypsies Maruti (India).

as the development of this product Suzuki Jimny, then launched a series that hasbrought sj413 1300CC engine with a wider wheelbase than sj410 series. vehicles inthe U.S. market is called suzuki samurai.

with lighter weight than any four-wheel drive vehicle, Suzuki Jimny in to off-road vehiclesare very popular both for beginners as well as the use of off-road seriously. shortwheelbase allows control of the streets is difficult, and not easily drowned when throughmuddy roads as well as four-wheel drive vehicles larger size.
suspension system and engine construction is also very simple, so easy to do themodification in order to adjust the terrain to be traversed.
